Are there any changes we should make?

Note that the Kelvin History website is a newly innovated addition to our school's many historical memorabilias. With the hundreds of biographies already added by a group of dedicated students we are not always opportuned to receive information that would better benefit our alumni biographies. If by chance you feel as though you have some missing details on any particular alumni then we will graciously accept to hear about them from you personally!

Leif Gislason

Leif Gislason is a competitive successful Canadian ice dancer. He was born on July 17th, 1983 in Winnipeg and attended Kelvin High School, graduating in 2000. He began skating at age 7 and worked with coach Paul MacIntosh and choreograhers Suzanne Killing and Ann Schelter. Gislason has competed with Lauren Flynn as well as Lauren Senft, both who he has had success with on the junior level. Gislason won the 2004 Canadian junior national silver medal with Senft as his partner, continuing to skate together until 2007. Between 2008-2009, Gislason formed a partnership with Morgan Matthews, an American skated. Today, Gislason continues to work in skating in Aston, Pennsylvania, where he coaches at the Ice Works Skating Complex.
