Are there any changes we should make?

Note that the Kelvin History website is a newly innovated addition to our school's many historical memorabilias. With the hundreds of biographies already added by a group of dedicated students we are not always opportuned to receive information that would better benefit our alumni biographies. If by chance you feel as though you have some missing details on any particular alumni then we will graciously accept to hear about them from you personally!

James Robert Shore

A successful businessman and administrator, James Shore was a strong believer in giving back to his community. After graduating from Kelvin and the University of Minnesota, he soon started his own firm Office Overload, later renamed Drake International. By 1965 his firm had offices in over 61 cities around the continent. In commemoration of a large donation, the University of Manitoba named its Drake building after Shore's firm. He had served on numerous committees, among them the National Executive for Junior Achievement, and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's council. In 1965, Shore received the Manitoba Order of the Buffalo Hunt in recognition of his contributions.
