Note that the Kelvin History website is a newly innovated addition to our school's many historical memorabilias. With the hundreds of biographies already added by a group of dedicated students we are not always opportuned to receive information that would better benefit our alumni biographies. If by chance you feel as though you have some missing details on any particular alumni then we will graciously accept to hear about them from you personally!Suggest a Change

Date of Birth: 1944
Don Aronovitch is the president and founder of Aronovitch Financial Group, a Winnpeg-based firm that offers financial, insurance, and management advice to individuals and businesses. In the community, he served as the President of the Winnipeg Jewish Community Center, aiding in the re-structuring of the new campus. Aronovitch has also financially supported numerous other community organizations, including Klinic community health center, Girl Guides of Canada, and Scouts Canada. He co-chaired the endowment fund for the first Jazz studies program at the University of Manitoba and was on the committee board for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. In 2006, Aronovitch received the Sol Kanee Distinguished Community Service medal, the greatest honor in the Jewish community.
