Note that the Kelvin History website is a newly innovated addition to our school's many historical memorabilias. With the hundreds of biographies already added by a group of dedicated students we are not always opportuned to receive information that would better benefit our alumni biographies. If by chance you feel as though you have some missing details on any particular alumni then we will graciously accept to hear about them from you personally!Suggest a Change

Date of Birth: 1924
Earle Pollard was a distinguished businessman and active community volunteer. After graduating from Kelvin, Pollard pursued a bachelor of commerce from the University of Manitoba. In 1947, he began work at the Hudson Bay Company, and later became a department head. A few years later Earle began working as an accountant at his family accounting firm, Pollard Banknote. Always eager to give back to his community, Pollard was awarded the distinguished service award by the U of M for his many hours of volunteering(1982. He has donated his blood to the red cross over a 100 times. His most notable contributions include serving as the School Trustee for Fort Garry, the VP of the Children's Aid Society, and on the board of the Health Sciences Center.
