Are there any changes we should make?

Note that the Kelvin History website is a newly innovated addition to our school's many historical memorabilias. With the hundreds of biographies already added by a group of dedicated students we are not always opportuned to receive information that would better benefit our alumni biographies. If by chance you feel as though you have some missing details on any particular alumni then we will graciously accept to hear about them from you personally!

Cecil Browne

Cecil Browne was only thirteen years old when he joined the Free Press Industrial Hockey team. After high school, he played hockey in three Allan Cup finals, professional football for the Regina Roughriders, baseball for Dick Irvin’s Dominion Express team, and he was named Saskatchewan’s all-around track and field champion. In 1926, Browne was a member of the original Chicago Blackhawks team which entered the NHL. In 1970, he was named Manitoba’s Athlete of the Century.
